I think what they need to start doing is concept contest where tons of people just make ideas for skins, or make drawings of, and have votes in things that people would want in the game. It would be a good way for fortnite to get closer to the community, and also would stop the reskin issue

Ight I think it’s time I share my thoughts though no one cares. Personally, I love the fact that artists who spend most of their time designing skin concepts. They look so cool when they have an idea. I think there might be a reason why they couldn’t do the original BriteStorm Bomber model. Regardless, all concept skins should be celebrated when they get their debut in Fortnite. I love the BriteStorm Bomber cause it’s nice and simple, I would love if epic games maybe would launch a program where we could send in concepts and they make like a couple of them real every week or something like that.

With all the recent concept skins we’ve been getting, do you think Epic should introduce a “Community Concept” rarity to group them into with a mention of who created the concept in the Locker image so that players who might not be very active on Reddit or Twitter can look at skins like Britestorm Bomber, the Bedhead Brigade, or even older skins like Tender Defender and Tomatohead and see that someone in the community originally came up with the skin and Epic is acknowledging them

The Britestorm set is really cool in my opinion. The concept art resembles Rox, which I would’ve been cool with. We’ve had other “Battle Pass” skins in the item shop in the form of the Calamity model being used for Clash, with it never being advertised as a Calamity reskin

My problem is that my favorite skin is an exclusive skin (Ikonik) and I had a chance to get it when it was out but couldn't and now I can't get it ever. I don't like it because it's rare, but a genuinely good skin in my opinion.

as a concept artist myself I feel like I could throw my two cents into here personally I think people are far too quick to jump onto the artists back once a concept gets added into the game, as artists we don't get to chose what concepts get picked by epic. Hell a lot of us don't even make concepts with the hope of them being added into the game, we sorta just do it for fun, and if epic wishes to put a concept that someone makes into the game, great thats basically a dream come true! I think a lot of the time people who are quick to criticise these skins don't know the effort or work that goes into each concept behind the scenes, each skin could take hours upon hours to create. and I think that misunderstanding is what causes people to get so mad and so quick to throw shade at that concept and as a 3D artist, we use other parts of skins because simply put, not all of us can create a skin from the ground up. in the case of sweetrabbit they even sculpted the face into a different model completely to make up for the use of ruby's clothing, idk why epic decided to turn it into a brite bomber but hey thats epics fault not sweetrabbits. I feel like I'm rambling and this point so I'll sum it up with this don't be quick to jump on an artists back when their concept gets added to the game, a lot of the time it's not even their fault please just be kind to each other
